There has been a record number of seal pups born at shingle spit on the relatively new colony in Suffolk which is great news as reported by @bbc It is important to maintain a distance of 100 metres from any seal pups and do not approach, touch or feed.

This is another reason why Suffolk is so unique and worthy of visiting with it's combination of unspoiled, varied landscapes—including over 50 miles of coastline, heathland, and rolling countryside
